Beginners blacksmith class at Sugar Grove Nature Center on Sep, 16. Learn basic blacksmithing skills, coal fire control, tools and safety. Students will make hooks and a steak turner to take home. Personal instruction by experienced blacksmiths.
the class will be from 8 am to 4, lunch provided by donation. $90. includes materials and 1 year subscription to the Illinois Valley Blacksmith Association.
